Introduction
PuTTY is a free
SSH (and telnet) implementation for computers running Microsoft Windows (it
also includes an xterm terminal emulator). PuTTY allows you to access your

Unix or other multi-user system from a PC, PuTTY will be useful.

SCP, SSH, Telnet, rlogin, and raw socket connections are just a few of the network protocols that it supports. It can join with a serial port as well. The meaning of the term "PuTTY" is ambiguous.
PuTTY has been ported to a number of different operating systems despite being originally developed for Microsoft Windows. Unofficial versions have been contributed to systems including Symbian, Windows Mobile, and Windows Phone. Official ports are available for certain Unix-like platforms, with work-in-progress ports to Classic Mac OS and macOS.

Security Services |
Details |
|
Confidentiality |
As of latest release of puTTY version,
the Windows executables and installer contain built-in signatures that are
automatically verified by Windows' own mechanism (‘Authenticode’). The keys
used for that are different and unique. |
|
Integrity |
The data cannot be modified unless the
user have the authentication and need to enter username and password of the
IP Address owner to modify the data.
|
|
Availability |
PuTTY is a complete suite of tools to
assess WiFi network security because it need the IP Address of the device.
All tools are command line which allows for heavy scripting. Therefore, this
tool is available as long as the device have the command prompt.
